No more moments of silence.
The still bodies of babies,
are silence enough.
Why are we not wailing, flailing, and
despairing in the street,
Instead of hiding our grief and outrage behind screens.
Typing words only to be read by those the algorithm deems,
Instead of coming together in true community?
We sit alone, wondering why the world is so angry,
As we seeth in response to the violence.
