True Beauty

I've spent my whole life
Battling dueling demons
Too fat, too thin.

Finally, I learned,
There is only one.
Her name is judgement.

I learned to love
this body mine.
Whatever her shape.

Today, I see you.
A face I've missed,
Looking beautifully vibrant.

And my mind jumps
To demons passed.
 "Have you lost weight?"

As if your shine
Comes from anywhere
Besides within the beauty you are.
